The WELLROAD WRD5110 medium crash attenuator truck adopts a Dongfeng cargo vehicle chassis, equipped with a new single-row engineering yellow cab and a powerful Cummins six-cylinder eco-friendly turbocharged electronic fuel injection diesel engine. The crash energy absorption device is mounted on the vehicle rear and flipped hydraulically. Filled with aerospace and automotive dedicated energy-absorbing aluminum honeycomb materials inside, it absorbs external impact force promptly and effectively, protecting the safety of vehicle occupants, on-site construction workers and construction equipment.
An integrated electronic arrow signboard is installed on board to guide vehicles traveling behind, minimizing the impact of construction on traffic flow. Crash Attenuation Energy Absorption ModuleThe module can absorb impact energy generated by a 2-ton vehicle traveling at 100 km/h at maximum. Its outer shell is made of special lightweight materials, the middle section is filled with deformable energy-absorbing materials, and the connecting part consists of two-section eight arc bent pipes. In the event of a collision, the two-section arc bent pipes deform outward first to dissipate impact energy. Once the impact force exceeds the deformation limit of the bent pipes, the crash attenuator pad will undergo plastic deformation to continuously absorb residual impact energy for maximum energy dissipation.
