The 4th China International Summit on Non-road Mobile Machinery
2021 marked the kickoff year of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan. National planning priorities for the non-road mobile machinery industry center on advancing high-quality industrial development focusing on intelligence, green development and high-end manufacturing. Efforts will be intensified to research, apply and popularize generic technologies, fundamental technologies and industrialized scientific research achievements, while steadily accelerating internationalization. Meanwhile, shifting demand driven by new infrastructure will reshape product portfolios of construction machinery manufacturers, and product innovation capacity will serve as a core driver sustaining medium- and long-term market growth.

Against this backdrop, the 4th China International Summit on Non-road Mobile Machinery was held in Shanghai on June 24–25, 2021. Building on the successes of the previous three sessions, the summit delved deep into hot topics of wide industry concern, including the implementation timeline of China’s National Stage IV emission standards for non-road machinery, countermeasures for enterprises to make adequate preparations, the 14th Five-Year development blueprint for China’s construction machinery and agricultural machinery sectors, agricultural machinery subsidy policies, development strategies for non-road mobile machinery in the post-pandemic era, as well as emerging applications of new energy, intelligent technology and lightweight design within the industry. The summit also served as a cross-border exchange platform connecting attendees with government officials, industry associations, senior corporate executives and technical experts for project cooperation.
