The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products. Road crash attenuator vehicles manufactured by Nantong Wellroad Special Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tiantu Road Industry Group, have been successfully listed in the national catalogue of road motor vehicle manufacturers and products. The enterprise ranks among the handful of domestic manufacturers of road traffic safety support equipment qualified for inclusion in this catalogue.

        The full series of crash attenuator vehicles are produced at Wellroad’s Nantong manufacturing base. Boasting a construction area of over 100,000 square meters, the base is outfitted with a full array of production and processing equipment, including flexible production lines, laser and plasma cutting machines, CNC bending equipment, CNC machining centers, intelligent coating systems and assorted tooling fixtures. It is also equipped with quality inspection and testing instruments such as tensile testing machines, spectrometers and coordinate measuring machines. Backed by strong hardware facilities and a professional team of R&D and management specialists, the base was hailed by MIIT experts who conducted on-site acceptance checks as "a special vehicle manufacturing base with top-tier domestic standards".
